Sounder beacon of the Tan Vien Series 200A addressable wireless fire alarm system.

Combined sounder beacon with an integrated LoRa module. On receiving an activation command from the panel, the device emits a high-intensity red flashing light and a modulated alarm tone to warn of evacuation. Press “Reset” on the panel to return it to monitoring.

Installation notes
- The sound level at every point must exceed the background noise by ≥ 10 dBA (≥ 15 dBA in sleeping areas).
- Do not obstruct the beacon and speaker; mount it correctly on its base — removing it from the base triggers a fault.
- Test operation at least once every quarter.

The 1000 m range is a manufacturer's figure measured in an unobstructed space. For indoor design in reinforced-concrete buildings, use a radius of ≈ 25 m around the panel/repeater (≈ 15 m in factories with heavy interference), and a radio survey is mandatory: pass when RSSI ≥ −100 dBm, SNR > 0.
